The Lolita

“Lolita, light of my life, fire of my loins.  My sin, my soul.”- Taken from Vladimir Nabokov’s Lolita

Welcome to my playground, mere mortals. Feel free to roam around and discover my world which you may consider as pure paradise or a dreaded wasteland come to life.

Before you read my various strings of words and judge me with your prying but possibly blind eyes, there are things that you need to take note of:

1. The Lolita is an 18-year old BS Management major that goes by the name of Nicole (or Nikki to some) in real life.

2. She is not fond of perverts, liars, haters and regular drama (which means yes, occasional drama is permitted).

3. She is considered hedonistic based on normal standards.  She frequently shops like she’s preparing for an upcoming Armageddon, douses herself in sweets and other tasty morsels, and engages in other leisurely activities regardless of the cash she has to shell out.

4. The Lolita is quite hardworking and diligent, despite her hedonism.

5. She is quite crass, crude, blunt, cocky and outspoken.  Not very good if you’ve gotten on her bad side.

6. The Lolita’s interests include high fashion (specifically Chanel, Miu-Miu, Prada and YSL), writing, books (particularly of the classic, contemporary, sci-fi and fantasy genres), fashion, anime, football, music (particularly K-POP/RnB/Hip-Hop/Alternative Rock), food, makeup and pretty boys.

7. She writes about her hedonistic lifestyle here.

8. She is a die-hard Vladimir Nabokov fan.

9. The Lolita likes cute and pretty things.

10. The Lolita is simply called as such because she tends to be immature and childish, and she needs to grow up (hence the name of this blog).
